Opened in December 2007, The Doves on Main Street in Santa Monica signals a sea change for hair salons on the West Coast. As the first salon in the United States wholly owned by Sonya and Christopher Dove, the talented, British-born Creative Directors of Wella USA, the new salon brings an unprecedented international level of sophistication to West Coast consumers. Recognized for their innovation, color know-how and unequaled hair artistry, the Doves and their team of highly trained stylists will offer a style-conscious clientele award-winning services in a stimulating modernist setting, all with a client-centric focus. Created as an environment that is as unpretentious, warm and dedicated as Sonya and Christopher themselves, The Doves’ studio reflects and celebrates The Doves’ 20-plus year career as international hair industry innovators. An interactive Color Bar serves as the salon’s central feature, offering color work that runs from natural and simplistic to multidimensional. Cuts ranging from classic and minimal to ultra-stylish and high fashion, as well as makeup application, will serve to complement the individual colorings. Fashion stylist, Antonio Vega, has joined our team as our Managing Director/ Fashion Director and we are pleased to announce that we have added fashion image consulting and personal shopping to our range of services.
